It all began when a happily married couple living in Tokyo received an unexpected visitor. The husband and wife had never met his brother, who had come from the countryside to stay with them. Though they were reluctant at first, their hospitality won out and they welcomed him into their home.
At first, they got along well enough, but gradually the husband began to harbor a deep resentment toward his brother due to his bad behavior. Tensions rose between them and soon it seemed like there was no way for peace to be restored.
